Weather Alert Day: Blizzard conditions Friday
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Light snow and windy conditions will continue this afternoon in eastern Nebraska. The snow should taper off to flurries by mid to late afternoon. Very strong winds will continue through the afternoon hours with occasional gusts between 50 to 60 mph. Blowing snow will reduce the visibility to less than a quarter of a mile at times. Drift covered roads are likely as well. Afternoon temperatures will be around 30 degrees.


Mostly cloudy skies for tonight and still blustery with some patchy blowing snow possible. Low temperatures in the lower 20s.
Partly to mostly cloudy on Saturday, not as windy and a touch warmer. The high will be in the mid to upper 30s. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Partly sunny with the high around 40 Sunday afternoon.
Monday will be in the mid 40s under partly sunny skies. Slightly cooler for Tuesday with the high around 40. Middle to upper 40s for Wednesday and Thursday.
